Big South Announces Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Feb. 18

Shea Morgan (Kettering, Ohio) has been named the Big South Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Campbell guard
ShyAnne Tuelle (Hampton, Tenn.) has been named the Freshman of the Week for games played Feb. 11-17, it was announced today by the Conference office.
Morgan averaged 19.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds, as she led High Point to a pair of key conference victories last week. The forward dropped in 17 points with seven assists and added eight boards in the Panthers’ narrow 69-62 road victory at Charleston Southern, which snapped the Bucs’ three-game winning streak. On Saturday, she finished 7-for-13 (53.8 percent) from the field for a game-high 22 points and grabbed six rebounds with four steals in HPU’s 70-63 win at Presbyterian College.
Tuelle averaged 15.5 points and connected on five 3-pointers in Campbell’s two conference matchups last week. The guard opened with 13 points and four rebounds in the Camels’ setback at Hampton on Tuesday. She later matched a game-high with 18 points, headlined by a perfect 4-for-4 mark from the free throw line, in CU’s 69-63 road victory at Gardner-Webb. The freshman scored 11 of her 18 points in the second half to lead the Camels to the key league win.
