Big South Announces Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 14
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – Radford junior Sam Sikora (Waynesboro, Va.) has been selected the Big South Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate Charlie Dance (Towson, Md.) is the Men’s Freshman Runner of the Week for meets ran the week of Sept. 5-11, it was announced today.
Sikora won the Lancer Pink Invite last Saturday, as he finished the 8K course with a time of 26:45.7 for his first collegiate win. His effort led the Highlanders to the team title.
In his collegiate debut, Dance completed the 8K meet third overall, as he ran a time of 26:59.3 to finish as Radford’s third scorer.
