Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Oct. 11

Lauren Charlton (Shopshire, England) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate
Lexi Taylor (Aiken, S.C.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week for meets ran Oct. 5-8, it was announced today.
Charlton was the Eagles’ top runner at the Royals Challenge, as she finished her Winthrop team debut 10th out of 243 runners with a 5K time of 18:07.
Taylor placed in the top half of the 243 competitors at the Royals Challenge with a 5K effort of 19:56. She was Winthrop’s third-fastest runner, finished 109th overall, and helped the Eagles finish 14th out of 29 teams.
