High Point clinched the first berth into the Big South Men's Soccer Championship tournament with its shutout victory over UNC Asheville on Saturday. Radford blanked Longwood, while USC Upstate picked up a 2-1 victory over Gardner-Webb.

The Radford men's soccer team earned a 1-0 win over Longwood in Saturday evening's matchup in Cupp Stadium to keep conference playoff hopes alive. The Highlanders found themselves with a 1-0 lead early in today's matchup against the Lancers, in a contest that was high intensity the moment the first whistle blew. In the 9th minute, Endjick Albert was able to capitalize after a debacle in Longwood's penalty area gave him the opportunity to take the shot that would give the Highlanders the advantage. The Highlanders had a couple of other chances that would've allowed them to double their lead, but were unable to find the back of the net. The intensity in the first half remained the same as both teams played an aggressive style but the Highlanders held the opposition scoreless thanks to two crucial saves by Alex Eydelman that would keep the scoreline 1-0 heading into the half.

The High Point University men's soccer team moved past UNC Asheville 4-0 Saturday night. This win secured the Panthers' spot in the Big South Conference Tournament. High Point continues to be unbeaten in conference play. High Point dominated the ball early and held possession for nearly the whole first half. Ripping five shots to Asheville's zero. The scoring started in the 15th minute as Tony Pineda crossed it into the box, Beau Yantz was there to take the volley and send it to the back of the net.

The USC Upstate men's soccer team kept their Big South tournament hopes alive Saturday night as they gritted out a 2-1 victory over the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs. Luke Halkett was the first Spartan to break through in the match, taking a crosser from Braiden Hall and burying it in the back of the net for his first goal of the season. Early in the second half, Jeremy Montero would score off a deflection from a Gardner-Webb defender, corralling the loose ball and lofting a shot over the defense. The Runnin' Bulldogs would score in the 71st minute, but the Spartans would take the 2-1 victory and the three points in Big South play, despite being outshot 21-8 over the full 90 minutes.
