Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Oct. 4

Brianna Malone (Dover, N.H.) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while UNC Asheville’s
Isabel Richardson (Huddersfield, England) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week for meets ran Sept. 28-Oct. 1, it was announced today.
Malone placed second out of 161 runners at the Notre Dame Invitational with a 5K time of 17:06.0 -- just 3.1 seconds shy of the individual winner. It was her second-straight top three finish and third Top 10 standing in three starts this fall.
Richardson was fifth overall at the Live in Lou Classic with a time of 18:00.1, and was the second-fastest freshman among the 383 runners in the field.
