Big South Announces Men's Golfers of the Week - March 16

Gregor Meyer (Pittsburgh, Pa.) has been named the Big South Men’s Golfer of the Week, while USC Upstate’s
Christophe Palmans (Genk, Belgium) is the Men’s Freshman of the Week for events played March 9-15, it was announced today.
Meyer carded a 3-under 210 (68-70-72) at the Sea Palms Invitational (par 71, 6,664 yards) to finish in a tie for 18th out of 120 golfers -- in addition to being the top golfer among the 16 Big South competitors in the event. He made 12 birdies, and matched his season-low 18-hole score in the first round.
Palmans finished with a career-low 54-hole total at the Sea Palms Invitational with a 1-under 212 (70-70-72). His first and second round scores were the lowest of his collegiate career, and he tied for 26th in the field -- his best finish of the season.
