Big South Women's Lacrosse Summary - March 29

As the women's lacrosse conference season began today, High Point, Mercer, Campbell, Furman and Presbyterian all emerged with victories to start 1-0 in league play.  HPU defeated Winthrop in double overtime, 13-12, while defending champion Mercer downed Gardner-Webb, 24-5.  Campbell knocked off Radford, 15-4, and Furman got past Longwood, 19-14.  Presbyterian notched a 12-8 home win over Wofford.
