Sanna Lundmark (Skellefea, Sweden) has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week, while teammate
Isabella Hahne (Kungsbacka, Sweden) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week for events played March 1-7.
Against a field that included nine top-50 ranked teams, including five in the top-25, Lundmark turned in her fourth top-20 individual finish of the season at the 51st Gators Invitational hosted by the University of Florida. Lundmark helped lead the Camels to a seventh-place finish in the 14-team event, placing ahead of No. 22 UCLA, No. 34 Michigan, and No. 36 NC State. In a tournament shortened to 36 holes by rain, Lundmark finished T17 at 4-over 144 (71-73) on the par-70 Mark Bostic Golf Course layout. She tied for the lead in par-3 scoring (-2) and was T5 in birdies (7).
Hahne finished T11 at two-over par 142 (71-71) at the Gators Invitational. In a tournament shortened to 36 holes by rain where only four golfers in the 75-player field finished in red numbers, Hahne made 25 pars and five birdies on the par-70 Mark Bostick GC layout and earned her fifth top-15 individual finish in six collegiate starts.
