Mercer defeated Campbell, 14-11 to win the Big South regular-season championship on Saturday afternoon from Buies Creek, North Carolina.  The Bears will be the No. 1 seed and will host next week's Women's Lacrosse Championship.  The remaining three seeds -- Campbell, Furman and High Point -- will be determined via the Conference's tiebreaker, which will need the third level of the process -- RPI.

In other regular-season finale action on Saturday, Sophie Shaw totaled a game high six points to lead Furman to a 16-11 victory over Presbyterian.  Wofford took an early lead and came away with a 17-13 win at Radford.  Winthrop hung on to defeat Longwood, 13-12, for its first Big South win of the year.  High Point downed Gardner-Webb, 15-9, for its fifth-straight win.
