Campbell Finishes 10th at NCAA Raleigh Regional

RALEIGH, N.C. – Isabella Hahne tied for 12th individually and Campbell finished 10th on the team leader board after Wednesday's final round of the NCAA Raleigh Regional at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
Hahne (71-72-73—216) was one of 14 players in the 65-golfer field to finish at even-par or better on the par-72 Arnold Palmer signature design.
Host NC State won the 12-team event at 7-under par (282-288-287—857), two shots ahead of No. 26 Arizona (286-292-281—859). Second-ranked Wake Forest (292-285-287—864), No. 38 TCU (292-288-286—866) and No. 14 Florida State (283-296-291—870) also qualified for the NCAA Championship May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club (Raptor Course) in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Playing as an individual, Chattanooga's Dorota Zalewska was the individual medalist at 12-under (69-66-69—204) to also earn a place in the NCAA final.
Campbell finished its 11th-consecutive regional appearance (297-299-305—901) ahead of North Texas (308-299-304—911) and Richmond (310-308-325—911).
The Big South Conference freshman of the year, Hahne posted the third-best 54-hole score by a Camel in NCAA Regional play, one shot off the 215 carded by Tahnia Ravnjak in the 2014 East Regional and matched by Stacey White at Madison, Wis., in 2018.
Campbell finished among the top 10 teams for the eighth time in 24 regional appearances. In 32 years under head coach John Crooks, Campbell has won 19 conference titles and earned 25 NCAA postseason trips.
Fifth-year senior Tomita Arejola closed her Campbell career with a T45 finish (73-78-78—229). Red-shirt freshman Taylah Ellems tied for 50th (77-75-79—231), junior Sanna Lundmark was 53rd (76-74-84—234) and senior Patricia Garre Munoz 55th (82-79-75—236).
Arejola and Garre Munoz capped their careers with three-straight regional appearances and Big South match play titles.
Hahne completed the Raleigh event sixth in par-4 scoring (-2) and T6th with 40 pars. She and Ellems led the team with seven birdies. Arejola made 39 pars.
