Big South Announces Women's Golfers of the Week - Sept. 28

Julia McLaughlin (Princeton, N.J.) has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week, while teammate
Anna Howerton (Winston-Salem, N.C.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week for events played Sept. 21-27, it was announced today.
McLaughlin tied for sixth at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (par 72, 6,440 yards) with an even-par 216 (71-71-74). She recorded the third-most birdies in the tournament with 11, and finished -4 on the par-5 layouts.
Howerton had the third-best individual finish for the Panthers at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic with a 12-over 228 (76-75-77). She was one of just six competitors to finish under-par on the par-3 holes at 1-under (2.92 scoring average).
