Daren Hinds (Charleston, S.C.) has been named the Big South Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, and teammate
Connor Magill (Cumberland, R.I.) is the Men’s Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran the weekend of Oct. 10-13.
Hinds captured first-place at the Sand Shark Cross Country Invitational. He cruised to a 45-second victory over the 8k course with a time of 24:57 to win his second career race as a collegian.
Magill finished 25th in the 8k field of the Sand Shark Cross Country Invitational. He was the sixth Eagle to finish on the day, and the team's fastest underclassman with a time of 27:14.
