Kezza Giffa and Juslin Bodo Bodo Named to Lou Henson Early Season Watch List

BOSTON, Mass. -- The 2024-25 Lou Henson 'Early Season' Watch list has been announced. The award is presented annually to the top player in mid-major college basketball. Two players from the Big South Conference have been named to the list -- High Point teammates Kezza Giffa and Juslin Bodo Bodo.

In 2023-24, Giffa was named a finalist for the Lou Henson award after averaging 16.2 points per game, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists. Currently, Giffa is averaging 16.8 points per game, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Bodo Bodo was named the Big South Defensive and Freshman Player of the Year last season after averaging 7.1 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. This season the 7'0" center is averaging 9.6 rebounds to lead the team.

The recipient of the annual award is determined by a 10-member voting committee, which consists of current and former head coaches, as well as two senior staff members of collegeinsider.com.

The 2025 award will be announced in San Antonio, Texas, site of the men's Division I Basketball Championship.
