High Point's Dylan Maberry Named AVCA East All-Region Honorable Mention

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Dylan Maberry (Magnolia, Texas) from the High Point University volleyball team joined a league of her own after earning her third honorable mention award in the AVCA East All-Region on Tuesday morning as announced by the AVCA All-Region Committee.

The graduate student outside hitter was the Big South Player of the Year for the third time in her career while being named to the First-Team All-Conference. She finished the season notching a conference and team-high 435 kills to average 3.92 kills per set while collecting 491 points to average 4.42 points per set. She also finished the season with 278 digs, 40 blocks, 34 service aces, and 22 assists.
During the season, Maberry won the Big South Player of the Week on four occasions and was named to the Big South All-Tournament team following the team's Big South Championship victory. She broke the program All-Time Kills record after collecting 1,606 kills in her career at High Point.
