High Point's Dylan Maberry Named AVCA All-American

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its 43rd annual All-America Teams for NCAA Division I women's volleyball, naming High Point's Dylan Maberry to the honorable mention list. Maberry earned her third AVCA All-America Honorable Mention (2021, 2023, & 2024), collecting HPU's fifth All-America award along with Abby Bottomley (2020) and Sydney Palazzolo (2022). She is the only Panther in Big South and program history to be selected three times in their career.
 
AVCA Awards Announced 
 
A week ago, Maberry was selected to the AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention team which was her third All-Region award since becoming a Panther (2021).

The graduate student outside hitter was the Big South Player of the Year for the third time in her career while being named to the First-Team All-Conference. She finished the season notching a conference and team-high 435 kills to average 3.92 kills per set while collecting 491 points to average 4.42 points per set. She also finished the season with 278 digs, 40 blocks, 34 service aces, and 22 assists.
 
During the season, Maberry won the Big South Player of the Week on four occasions and was named to the Big South All-Tournament team following the team's Big South Championship victory. She broke the program All-Time Kills record after collecting 1,606 kills in her career at High Point.
