Big South Announces Women's Golfers of the Week - March 28

Odette Font (Mallorca, Spain) has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week, while Radford’s
Macy Johnson (Salem, Va.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for events played March 21-27, it was announced today.
Font was the individual champion at the rain-shortened Pinetree Women’s Intercollegiate (par 72, 6,120 yards) with a 2-over 146 (71-75). She won by two strokes, and led the Lady Bucs to the team title as well. Font was the lone player in the field to finish under-par on the par-4 holes (-3 overall), and she tallied the second-most birdies with six.
Johnson tied for 11th at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate (par 72, 6,017 yards) with a 234, which included a second round 1-under 71. She was Radford’s top finisher, she had eight birdies in the tournament, and she helped the Highlanders to a fifth-place team finish.
