Longwood moved to 4-0 in Big South matches with its win over Winthrop on Saturday, while Furman improved to 3-0 with its road victory at PC.  High Point and Wofford were also victorious on Saturday.

LONGWOOD 19, WINTHROP 15 | BOX SCORE
Sophia Passa powered Longwood lacrosse past Winthrop 19-15 on Saturday afternoon.  Passa tied a career high with six goals, and Longwood (6-6, 4-0 Big South) stayed unbeaten in Big South play. It is the first time Longwood has been 4-0 in conference action since 2014.  Passa was dynamic, but she was part of a three-headed monster for Longwood's offense that combined for 15 goals. Passa had six, Riley McDonald added five goals to go with three assists, and Ariana Tucci tacked on four more.  Passa struck early as Longwood stormed out of the gates against Winthrop (1-10, 1-3 Big South). She gave the Lancers a 2-0 lead a tick more than five minutes in, and she had four goals in the first half alone.

FURMAN 17, PRESBYTERIAN 6 | BOX SCORE
The Furman women's lacrosse team captured a third consecutive victory, and remain undefeated to start its Big South Conference slate, on Saturday afternoon with a 17-6 win over the Presbyterian College Blue Hose at Bailey Memorial Stadium.  Furman improves to 5-7 on the season and 3-0 in Big South play. With the loss, Presbyterian drops to 1-10 overall and 0-3 in the conference.  Sophia Buzelis paced the Paladin offense with a career high seven points on five goals, tying her career best, and two assists. Buzelis also compiled six draws, two ground balls, and caused two turnovers.

HIGH POINT 20, GARDNER-WEBB 6 | BOX SCORE
The High Point University women's lacrosse team scored 11 goals in the first quarter and never looked back as the Panthers surged past Gardner-Webb University, 20-6, Saturday afternoon.  HPU is undefeated against the Runnin' Bulldogs, extending its winning streak to 10 games as the Panthers had six with two goals or more. The win also marks back-to-back Big South Conference wins with 20 goals as the Panthers assisted on 12 of those at GWU.  In the opening five minutes, the Panthers jetted out to a 7-0 lead as six different scorers found the back of the net. Shannon Smith scored a pair as Jordan Miles netted four in the first quarter alone, including a dazzling behind-the-back goal via Kay Rosselli for an 11-1 lead.

WOFFORD 13, RADFORD 10 | BOX SCORE
 The Wofford College women's lacrosse team scored three late goals in a 13-10 win over Radford on a cold Saturday afternoon at the Student Outdoor Recreation Complex.  The Terriers built a 10-6 lead after three quarters, but the Highlanders scored four straight goals to tie the game. Wofford responded with three straight goals to close out the road win.  Wofford (4-7, 1-2) was led by Carlie Cutinella with four goals, Carley Irvin with three goals and an assist, and Bria Foley with two goals and three assists. Irvin also led the team with seven draw controls. Lily Barger had a team-best three caused turnovers and five ground balls. Ella Smithers made nine saves in goal for the Terriers.
