Winthrop Finishes 14th at NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regional

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. — Senior Austin Mosher's 1-over 71 paced Winthrop men's golf in the final round of the NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regional, Wednesday afternoon.  Senior Austin Mosher led the Eagles in the final round with a 1-over 71.

Mosher's 1-over is tied for the third-lowest round by an Eagle in an NCAA Regional.  It's the second-lowest final round by an Eagle at an NCAA Regional.  Senior Nick Mayfield had the second-best round for the Eagles on Wednesday with a 75.  Mayfield also was the top finisher for Winthrop at 68th.  Mayfield led the Eagles in Par 3 and Par 4 scoring while Mason Tucker and Logan Lutz led in Par 5 scoring.

The 2023-24 season comes to a close for the Eagles.
