Big South Announces Women's Golfers of the Week - Aug. 29

Supatta Puttanavarat (Chonburi, Thailand) has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week for events played the opening week of the 2024 fall season, while Gardner-Webb’s
Eva Bulger is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree, it was announced today.
Puttanavarat tied for seventh at the one day, 36-hole Tiger Classic (par 72, 6,229 yards) with a 1-under 143 (67-76). Her opening round 67 was the third-lowest score of the day and featured seven birdies, while her final round included an eagle.
In her collegiate debut, Bulger carded a 4-over 148 (74-74) playing as an individual at the Tiger Classic. She birdied the first and 10th holes in the first round, birdied the first hole in the final round, and made 26 pars en route to a tie for 27th overall.
