Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 18

Sarah McCartney (Lawrenceville, Ga.) is the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while UNC Asheville’s
Addi Corl (Clayton, N.C.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree.
McCartney had a strong showing at the Furman Invitational, culminating with a seventh-place finish in the 6k race. Her time of 21:09.2 helped the Buccaneers to a third-place finish at the event.
Corl earned Freshman of the Week after a 37th-place performance in the 6k at the Furman Invitational. In her first collegiate 6k, she ran a 23:17.7 and was one of two Bulldogs to finish in the top 40.
