Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 25

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – High Point’s Alyssa Hendrix (Riverview, Fla.) is the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while USC Upstate’s Beth Ludwick (Spartanburg, S.C.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree.

Hendrix was the Panthers’ top finisher at the Adidas XC Challenge.  She placed 15th out of 165 runners with a time of 17:24.2 in the 5k race, and led High Point to a fifth-place team finish. 
 
Ludwick led the Spartans in their first 6k race of the season.  She finished 23rd out of 211 competitors with a time of 23:10.14.
