Big South Announces Men's Golfers of the Week - Sept. 26

Jackson Stone (Acworth, Ga.) has been named the Big South Men’s Golfer of the Week, while High Point’s
Shlok Jain (Cary, N.C.) is the Men’s Freshman of the Week for events played Sept. 19-25, it was announced today.
Stone finished eighth at the Graeme McDowell Invitational (par 72, 6,987 yards) with a 10-under par 206 (71-67-68), which is the third-best individual 54-hole score in program history. He made three birdies in the opening round, added seven birdies plus an eagle in the second round, and concluded the tournament with six birdies in the final round. Stone helped the Spartans shoot the second-lowest round (275 in the final round) in program annals.
Jain was High Point’s top golfer at the Rod Myers Invitational (par 72, 7,154 yards) as he tied for 16th with an even-par 216 (75-71-70). He was 4-under par on the par-5 holes and posted a team-high 12 birdies.
