Longwood prevailed over Winthrop Saturday In a match-up of 3-0 Big South teams to take sole possession of first-place in the conference standings.  Gardner-Webb handed High Point its first Big South loss of the season, while Radford picked up its first Big South win.  PC collected its second-straight win.

LONGWOOD 77, WINTHROP 59 | BOX SCORE
Four Longwood women's basketball players scored double figures to stay perfect in Big South Conference action with a 77-59 victory over Winthrop at the Joan Perry Brock Center on Saturday.  The win, Longwood's sixth consecutive and ninth in 10 games overall, improved the Lancers to 4-0 in the league for just the second time in history, joining the 2021-22 conference championship team.
 
GARDNER-WEBB 64, HIGH POINT 52 | BOX SCORE
The Gardner-Webb University women's basketball team (5-11, 2-2 Big South) took down previous league-unbeaten High Point (8-9, 3-1 Big South) on Saturday afternoon at Paul Porter Arena, outscoring the Panthers 24-16 in the fourth quarter in route to a 64-52 victory.

The Radford women's basketball program dug deep behind Joi Williams' 21 points for a physical win Saturday afternoon 64-56 over USC Upstate.
 
PRESBYTERIAN 60, UNC ASHEVILLE 56 | BOX SCORE
The Presbyterian College women's basketball team (4-13, 2-2) defeated the UNC Asheville Bulldogs (2-14, 0-3) with a final score of 60-56 behind a 25-point career-high performance from Paige Kindseth.
