Charleston Southern picked up a key home win over Winthrop on Wednesday, while Longwood improved to 5-0 with a road victory at High Point.  Radford won its second-straight Big South contest, while USC Upstate clinched its first conference win of the year.

CHARLESTON SOUTHERN 78, WINTHROP 50 | BOX SCORE
The Charleston Southern women's basketball team got back in the win column on Wednesday night, as they defeated the Winthrop Eagles in convincing fashion with a 78-50 win inside the Buc Dome.   Charleston Southern (6-11, 2-2 in conference) was led by Madison Adamson, who notched a triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Adamson's 11 assists were a career high and the most for a Buccaneer in one game since Joy Taylor in 1998. 
 
LONGWOOD 72, HIGH POINT 68 | BOX SCORE
The Longwood women's basketball is 5-0 in conference play for the first time in its Division I history.  The Lancers staved off a furious second-half comeback from homesteading High Point, knocking off the the Panthers, 72-68, at the Qubein Center, laying claim to their seventh consecutive victory.
 
RADFORD 71, GARDNER-WEBB 70 | BOX SCORE
The Radford women's basketball program was locked in an intense battle with Gardner-Webb Saturday night for the full 40 minutes earning the 71-70 victory thanks to a made layup in the closing seconds by Cate Carlson.
 
USC UPSTATE 60, UNC ASHEVILLE, 57 | BOX SCORE
USC Upstate women's basketball returned to an electric G.B. Hodge Center this evening after a two-game road stand. Tonight's Ingles I-26 rivalry matchup against UNC Asheville proved to be a gritty and exciting game, one in which the Spartans earned their first conference win 60-57.
