The Gardner-Webb University women's basketball team continued to find its stride in Big South Conference play on Wednesday night, winning for the third time in four games with a double-digit road victory at UNC Asheville. Offense would turn out to be the story on Wednesday night in Asheville, with the Runnin' Bulldogs shooting 42% across 30 made field goals, 21 of which came in the paint. GWU also had to hold off an above-shooting night from UNC Asheville, who knocked down 11 three pointers in the contest.
CHARLESTON SOUTHERN 71, PRESBYTERIAN 58 | BOX SCORE
The Charleston Southern women's basketball team got back on track Wednesday night, as Keshunti Nichols scored a career-high 25 points to give the Buccaneers a 71-58 win inside the Templeton Center.
HIGH POINT 84, USC UPSTATE 31 | BOX SCORE
The High Point University women's basketball team earned its largest margin of victory in a conference game with the, 84-31, win against USC Upstate on Wednesday night.
LONGWOOD 56, RADFORD 51 | BOX SCORE
Sophomore Amor Harris hit a pull-up jumper with five seconds on the clock to vault the Longwood women's basketball team to a 56-51 victory over Radford in Big South action at the Joan Perry Brock Center on Wednesday. Tied at 51-all with 12.9 seconds left, the Lancers worked the ball to Harris on a sideline out-of-bounds play, who knocked in an 18-footer for the the lead.
