In the Big South opener, McIntyre tied the conference’s all-time single-game record with 10 steals—adding seven points and four assists—in a 68-56 victory over Presbyterian. Her 10 steals are the most in the NCAA this season and marked the first time a Big South player reached double-digit steals during league play since 1993. She capped the week with 13 points, five assists, and four steals in a one-point win at Charleston Southern on Saturday. For the week, the graduate student shot 42.9 percent (15-of-35) from the field and was 3-of-7 ( =42.9 percent) from three-point range.

Collins filled the stat sheet with averages of 13.5 points, 5.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 2.0 blocks in High Point’s 2-0 week. She shot an impressive 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the field and missed only two shots in each game. The senior opened conference play with 15 points in a 12-point road win at Radford, setting career highs in assists (6), steals (6), and blocks (3) in the process. She followed that performance with 12 points, four assists, one block, and one steal in a dominant 31-point home victory over UNC Asheville on Saturday to lead the Panthers to back-to-back wins.

Gallagher scored a career-high 18 points to lead USC Upstate in Thursday’s Big South opener against Winthrop, adding two rebounds in the effort. The redshirt freshman hit four field goals, including three 3-pointers, and a career-best seven free throws. She scored nine points in each half, accounting for one-third of the Spartans’ points, while drawing eight fouls. It marked her team-leading eighth double-figure scoring game of the season.
