Freya Buglass (Trowbridge, England) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate
Lucy McNamara (Perth, Western Australia) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran Sept. 25-28, it was announced today.
Buglass posted a career-best 6K time of 21:56.6 at the Gans Creek Challenge in Columbia, Mo. She was the Bucs’ top finisher, and crossed the line 66th out of 236 competitors.
McNamara was the Bucs’ fourth finisher at the Gans Creek Challenge with a career-best 6K effort of 23:19.4 to help CSU finish 20th as a team.
