Big South Announces Women's Golfers of the Week - Oct. 2

Makayla Grubb (Stafford, Va.) has been named the Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week, while teammate
Eva Lye (Naples, Fla.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for events played Sept. 25-Oct. 1, it was announced today.
Grubb tied for third at the Pat Bradley Invitational (par 72, 6,002 yards) with a 2-over 218 (73-75-70). She had a tournament-best 11 birdies for her best collegiate finish, and was High Point’s top finisher in the 71-player field.
Lye tied for 28th at the Pat Bradley Invitational with a 227 (75-76-76), which featured six birdies. She recorded two birdies in each round, and contributed to the Panthers’ third-place finish in the 12-team event.
