Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Oct. 22

Brianna Malone (Barrington, N.H.) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate
Olivia Purdy (Romeo, Mich.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran Oct. 16-19, it was announced today.
Malone was sixth overall out of 157 runners at the Panorama Farms Invitational with a 6K performance of 20:29.3. Her 3K split of 10:08.6 was tied for first-place, and she led HPU to a fifth-place team finish.
Purdy scored for the Panthers with her time of 21:54.3 at the Panorama Farms Invitational. She crossed the finish line in 54th place, good for fifth on the High Point squad.
