CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – Radford’s

Olson scored a goal in Radford’s 2-0 win over Charleston Southern to help the Highlanders clinch the No. 1 seed in this year’s Big South Tournament. She also drew a foul in the attacking half that led to Radford’s first goal of the afternoon. Leading by one in the 60th minute, the senior converted her own rebound off a penalty shot to seal the win and secure at least a share of the Big South regular-season championship. Olson placed two of her three shots on target in 71 minutes of action.
McKessy recorded four saves and a shutout in High Point’s win over Gardner-Webb, finishing with a 1.000 save percentage on nine shots faced. The graduate student saw eight shots in the first half, stopping all three that went on goal, before adding her final save in the 62nd minute on GWU’s lone shot of the second half. McKessy played the full 90 minutes in net.
