Charleston Southern's Hayden Goode Named 2025 Big South Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year

Hayden Goode (Lyman, S.C.) has been named the 2025 Big South Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Year, it was announced today by the Conference office.
Goode claimed 62nd overall at this year's NCAA Southeast Regional, and was the top finisher among the Big South competitors as he ran a personal-best time of 31:04.4 in the 10K race. Prior to that meet, Goode claimed second overall at the Big South Championship with a time of 25:01.0 to help the Buccaneers win their sixth consecutive conference championship. This season he set a personal-best time in the 8K at the Panorama Farms Invitational with a time of 24:38.8. Goode ran in five meets during the fall, and was a top four finisher for CSU in each competition. He is the third Buccaneer in four years to receive Big South Runner of the Year honors.
