Big South Announces Men's Golfers of the Week - Nov. 5

Jeep Patrick (Hilton Head, S.C.) has been named the Big South Men’s Golfer of the Week, while Gardner-Webb’s
Jude Carper (Cornelius, N.C.) is the Men’s Freshman of the Week honoree for events played the final week of the fall season, it was announced today.
Patrick won the Fripp Island Intercollegiate with a 6-under 207 (70-70-67). He was under-par in each round in recording his second career victory. Patrick won by five strokes, drained 14 birdies, and paced the field in par-4 scoring.
Carper tied for ninth at the Fripp Island Intercollegiate with a 3-over 216 (67-79-70) for his first career Top 10 finish. He helped the Runnin’ Bulldogs win the team title, tied for the second-most birdies with 14, and played the par-5 layouts at 4-under. Carper’s first round 67 was a collegiate-best.
