The Charleston Southern women's basketball team picked up their fourth win in a row on Saturday, as they escaped a fourth-quarter rally from the Longwood Lancers for a 55-50 road victory. Charleston Southern (10-12, 6-3 in conference) won the rebounding battle 42-31 and shot a season-best 46.8% from beyond the arc. They were led by Catherine Alben, who scored 19 points and shot 4/7 from the three-point line. Saniya Jones added 12 points and six rebounds, while Madison Adamson led the way with 12 boards.

The Gardner-Webb University women's basketball team (8-13, 5-4 Big South) scored an important Big South win over Winthrop on Saturday afternoon, shooting 49% for the game and forcing the visiting Eagles into 18 turnovers en route to a 66-54 triumph.
