The Longwood women's basketball team engineered a 13-2 run in the third quarter and fought off a late Winthrop comeback for a 59-55 win on the road Wednesday. The victory — the Lancers' fourth consecutive — improves Longwood to 20-9 overall and 11-4 in the Big South Conference and marks the second time in the school's Division I era it has reached 20 wins.
RADFORD 80, GARDNER-WEBB 78 | BOX SCORE
The Radford women's basketball program upended a fierce Gardner-Webb offense Wednesday night to close out the home season with a thrilling 80-78 victory. Taylor Napper's 24 points are a career high for the senior and an individual high for a Highlander this season. Joi Williams also dropped 22 points with another Highlander single game individual high of six three pointers.

The High Point University women's basketball team clinched the Big South Regular Season Championship for its second year in a row as they defeated USC Upstate, 72-47, on Wednesday night. For the third time in five seasons, HPU will stand alone with the No. 1 seed heading into the Big South Tournament.
