The High Point University baseball team won both games of a Saturday doubleheader against Longwood University, winning game one, 9-7, and game two, 19-11. Wade Walton got the start on the bump in game one for the Panthers, pitching four innings with two earned runs and four strikeouts. In game two, eight different Panthers recorded a hit in the victory, resulting in a total of 19 hits while Landon Castor struck out five in two innings pitched and Howell Polk tossed a scoreless ninth frame.
USC UPSTATE 15, WINTHROP 4 | BOX SCORE
A day after totaling 14 unanswered runs to secure an 11-run victory, USC Upstate baseball increased the total to 27 unanswered Saturday, securing the series victory with a 15-4 win over Winthrop at Cleveland S. Harley Park. The Spartans' 27 unanswered runs stand as the second-longest streak for Upstate this season, sitting behind the 34 unanswered from its series at Charleston Southern in late March.

The Radford baseball program returned to the win column with a complete 4-1 team victory over Gardner-Webb in game two of the Big South series at Henry Moss Stadium on Saturday. The Highlanders did it across all aspects of the game with dominate pitching, timely hitting and a strong defense that didn't record a single error.
