USC UPSTATE 17, WINTHROP 1 | BOX SCORE
Scoring 29 runs through two games in its latest Big South Conference series, USC Upstate baseball earned the club's first run-rule victory in league play since March 2024, completing its sweep of Winthrop with a 17-1 win in seven innings Sunday afternoon at Cleveland S. Harley Park. As has become a trend in the series, the Spartans scored 17 unanswered runs in the series finale.
HIGH POINT 19, LONGWOOD 10 | BOX SCORE
The High Point University baseball team defeated the Longwood Lancers, 19-10, on Sunday afternoon to sweep the series and improve to 25-11. Dalton Hitt got the start in the series finale on Sunday, pitching only one inning and giving up four earned runs. He was relieved by Joey Tuttoilmondo. The High Point offense jumped out to a great start with back-to-back hits by Landen Johnson and Brayden Simpson resulting in one run scored in the top of the first. Longwood would respond scoring a run, tying the game at one in the bottom of the first.
RADFORD 5, GARDNER-WEBB 1 | BOX SCORE
The Radford baseball program is starting to get hot again at just the right time as the Highlanders collected their second straight win over Gardner-Webb, this time by a 5-1 margin, to close out the series victory at Henry Moss Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The back-to-back wins pushed Radford right back into the Big South race. The Highlanders improved to 5-7 in conference play and find themselves tied for fourth in the conference overall.
