The Radford softball program dug deep in a nine-inning affair Sunday afternoon for their series finale against Longwood with Grace Bechtol playing hero lacing the walk-off RBI double in a 5-4 win.

The Gardner-Webb University softball team used a complete game gem from freshman pitcher Hannah Frye and backed up her performance with four late runs, defeating Presbyterian 5-1 on Sunday afternoon and completing a weekend sweep. Frye was excellent in the circle for Gardner-Webb, helping the Runnin' Bulldogs to victory. The Kingsport, Tenn. native went the distance with 7.0 innings pitched, allowing only four hits, one run, and striking out three.
