She scored five straight goals in the second quarter to erase a 3-2 deficit and give Mercer a 7-4 lead—an advantage the Bears would never surrender in the matchup between the league’s final two unbeaten teams. She finished the week with nine goals, four ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Foley tallied 16 points on eight goals and eight assists in two Wofford wins. She added nine draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers. The sophomore posted four goals, three assists, five draw controls, and two ground balls in a 14-7 win over Winthrop, then followed it up with a game-high nine points on four goals and five assists in a 19-7 victory at Radford. Foley also contributed four draw controls, one ground ball, and two caused turnovers against the Highlanders to help the Terriers win a third straight in Big South play.
Rowe anchored Wofford’s defense in a pair of Big South victories, totaling seven caused turnovers and eight ground balls across the two games. She recorded three caused turnovers and three ground balls in a 14-7 win over Winthrop, then followed by tying a season-high with four caused turnovers and five ground balls in a 19-7 road win at Radford. Rowe’s efforts helped the Terrier defense combine to allow just 14 total goals on the week.
Toole recorded four goals and tied her career high with four assists in Furman’s 23-10 win over Longwood on Saturday, helping the Paladins set new program records for both points and assists in a game. She also added one ground ball and was credited with the game-winning goal. The freshman scored twice in the first half and added two more goals in the third quarter to help Furman pull away after holding just a three-goal lead at halftime.
