UNC Asheville defeated first-place High Point on Friday to even the series with the Panthers. Radford, Charleston Southern and Winthrop also won to clinch their respective series heading into Saturday's finales.

UNC Asheville Baseball evened its Big South Conference series with a 4-2 win at High Point on Friday (Apr. 18). Asheville opened the scoring in the first inning when Patrick Gillen scored Corbin Lanowitz on a sacrifice fly to right field, before High Point would tie the game in the third inning. After the teams traded two scoreless innings, Asheville scored two in the sixth and one in the seventh to give starter Clay Edmondson some insurance.
RADFORD 15, PRESBYTERIAN 12 | BOX SCORE
There isn't a more thrilling way to collect your fifth win in a row than the Radford baseball program posted on Friday night as James Ward sent a three-run bomb over the left field fence in the bottom of the ninth to walk off the Highlanders with a 15-12 victory over Presbyterian to seal the three-game series on Friday evening. The win improved Radford to 7-7 in Big South play as the squad holds steady in a tie for fourth overall in the conference. The Highlanders, with their now five-game winning streak, also hold the longest active winning streak out of all Big South programs.
CHARLESTON SOUTHERN 15, LONGWOOD 11 | BOX SCORE
Charleston Southern scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth to pull away with a 15-11 win over Longwood on Friday.
WINTHROP 15, GARDNER-WEBB 0 | BOX SCORE
Two grand slams and an Owen Sarna pitching gem highlighted Winthrop's dominant shutout of Gardner-Webb at home Friday evening.
