Big South Announces Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - April 24
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference announced today its Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for competitions this past weekend of April 17-20.

Camerin Williams,

Tim Brown was voted Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, HPU’s
Jackson Tuomey (Frederick, Md.) was tabbed the Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honoree, while Panther teammates Brown and Williams shared the Men’s Freshman of the Week honor.
Belle, Williams, Britt and Brown won the 4x400m Relay at the Aggie Invitational with a time of 3:06.96, which is fifth all-time in Big South history.
Tuomey won the pole vault at the Wake Forest Invitational with a clearance of 5.18m. It was his outdoor PR, and is the top effort in the league this season.
Brown also competed at the Wake Forest Invitational and finished second in the 400m with a time of 46.77. He bested his own school record, and remains atop the conference’s leaderboard in the event. Brown placed fourth in the 400m with a time of 21.33.
Williams also competed at the Wake Forest Invitational and won the 800m with a PR time of 1:48.97 -- the sixth-fastest mark in Big South history.
