Charleston Southern Draws N.C. State in NCAA Women's Tennis Championship

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The NCAA Women's Tennis Selection Show was held late on Monday afternoon and the Buccaneers found out their postseason fate during it. As the squad claimed the Big South Tournament Championship earlier this month, they earned the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Charleston Southern will be traveling to Raleigh, N.C. to face #12 N.C. State in the first round of the tournament. The winner of the contest will face the victor of UCF and Furman.
 
The first round will be held on Friday, May 2 with the second round to be on Saturday, May 3. The super regionals will be from May 9-11 with the Women's Team Championship to be from May 15-18 in Waco, Texas.
 
The time for the first serve will be announced later this week as well as information for spectators planning to travel to the event.
