Big South Women's Lacrosse Summary - April 5

Winthrop improved to 2-1 in league play with its home win over Presbyterian, while Mercer moved to 3-0 with its home victory over Radford.  Wofford picked up its first Big South win of the year with its triumph at Longwood.

WINTHROP 16, PRESBYTERIAN 6 | BOX SCORE
Winthrop dominated the second half as the Eagles went on to down Presbyterian on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.

MERCER 20, RADFORD 7 | BOX SCORE
Caoline Glus scored a career high six goals and Mercer overcame an early deficit to win convincingly at home, 20-7 over Radford on Senior Day from Five Star Stadium.  Nine different Mercer players scored for the Bears led by Glus' six goals. It's the third game this season in which the Bears scored 20 or more goals.

WOFFORD 12, LONGWOOD 6 | BOX SCORE
The Wofford College women's lacrosse team scored six goals in the first half and added six goals in the second half on the way to a 12-6 road win over Longwood at Elizabeth Burger Jackson Field on Saturday afternoon. The Lancers scored first, but the Terriers used a 6-0 run on the way a 6-3 lead at the half. A 5-0 run in the second half propelled the Terriers to the 12-6 victory.
