Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 10

Sophie Magson (Essex, London) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate
Cora Gentzel (Smithsburg, Md.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran Sept. 4-7, it was announced today.
Magson finished runner-up out of 72 runners at the Virginia Tech Invite 4K with a school- and personal-record time of 13:47.4. She helped the Highlanders to a first-place team finish.
Gentzel was Radford’s number four scorer at the Virginia Tech Invite with a time of 14:39.7, good for 10th overall in the meet. Her performance ranks sixth all-time in program annals.
