Big South Announces Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 17

Griffin Gillespie (Travelers Rest, S.C.) has been named the Big South Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate
Andrew Cleland (Spartanburg, S.C.) is the Men’s Freshman of the Week for meets ran Sept. 11-14, it was announced today.
Gillespie finished 10th overall at the Furman Invitational 6K with a time of 19:19.99 in the 102-runner field. He helped the Buccaneers to a third-place standing in the 10-team event.
Cleland posted a time of 20:17.75 for 34th-place at the Furman Invitational, which was seventh-fastest among CSU’s 21 overall runners in the meet.
