Big South Announces Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 24

Avery Crowell (Portsmouth, N.H.) has been named the Big South Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while teammate
Simon Triezenberg (Grand Rapids, Mich.) is the Men’s Freshman of the Week for meets ran Sept. 18-21, it was announced today.
Crowell won the Lancer Pink Invitational on Saturday, as he crossed the finish line first with a time of 25:42.6 on the 8K course. It was his first collegiate victory, and he won by nine seconds.
Triezenberg claimed fourth at the Lancer Pink Invitational with a time of 25:57.8. He was High Point’s third-best runner of the day, and helped the Panthers to the team win.
