Big South Announces Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Sept. 3

Sophie Farley (Palmyra, Va.) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while High Point’s
Olivia Prudy (Romeo, Mich.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran the opening weekend of the 2025 season, it was announced today.
Farley broke her own program 4k record with a PR time of 13:51.9 to finish ninth overall at the Spider Alumni Open. She bested the previous record by :33 seconds, and her effort was the fastest 4k in the Big South this past weekend.
Prudy was High Point’s top finisher at the Friday Night Lights Elon Opener with a time of 14:20.8 in the 4k. She finished 18th overall out of 100 runners, while HPU tied for fifth among the 11 teams in the field.
