Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb and Winthrop were all victorious at home on Saturday, while High Point won at Presbyterian to conclude the first half of the conference season at 7-0.

Charleston Southern volleyball earned a hard-fought four-set victory over Radford on Saturday afternoon at Buccaneer Fieldhouse, winning 3-1 (27-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19) in Big South Conference action. The Buccaneers improved to 10-10 overall and 2-5 in conference play with the victory, snapping a challenging stretch against league opponents. Radford fell to 10-11 overall and 4-3 in the Big South.
GARDNER-WEBB 3, UNC ASHEVILLE 2 | BOX SCORE | RECAP
The Gardner-Webb volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat UNC Asheville, 3-2, Saturday afternoon at Paul Porter Arena. The Runnin' Bulldogs claimed the final three sets to secure a 21-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-16, 15-11 victory and earn a key Big South Conference win. With the victory, Gardner-Webb improved to 13-8 overall and 4-3 in Big South play, while UNC Asheville fell to 14-9 overall and 2-5 in conference action. Sarina Galyean led the Runnin' Bulldogs with 15 kills, while Caroline Franklin added 10 kills and hit .438.
WINTHROP 3, USC UPSTATE 0 | BOX SCORE | RECAP
The Winthrop University volleyball team swept the weekend after defeating USC Upstate in straight sets, 3-0, Saturday at Winthrop Coliseum. Paige Bennett had a team high of 16 kills, Lexi Thatcher added a game-high 36 assists, and KeAra Bowen had 11 kills with no errors on 19 attempts. Bennett kept her streak of 15-plus kills in seven consecutive matches, Addison Torain recorded 15 or more digs in back-to-back matches, and Bowen posted a career-high .579 hitting percentage.
HIGH POINT 3, PRESBYTERIAN 1 | BOX SCORE | RECAP
The High Point University volleyball team traveled to Presbyterian College on Saturday afternoon for a Big South Conference matchup. After dropping the first set, HPU rolled through the next three sets to win 3-1 over the Blue Hose. Élodie Lalonde and Gabby Hill each posted double figure kills while Maya Bukovcan added nine kills and nine total blocks. Remy Catojo dished out 39 assists and Kea Whillock picked up 12 digs. As a team the Panthers dominated on the service ace and the block, collecting 10 aces and 17 blocks.
