Anna Conrad (Millersport, Ohio) has been named the Big South Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, while Charleston Southern’s
Amron Rice (Hendersonville, N.C.) is the Women’s Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran the weekend of Oct. 15-18, it was announced today.
Conrad clocked a personal-best time of 17:38.2 for eighth-place at the Upstate Invite 5K. She was the top finisher among the Big South runners competing, and posted her first Top 10 standing of the season.
Rice helped Charleston Southern finish fifth in the 36-team field at the Upstate Invite 5K, as she scored for the Bucs with her time of 18:26.7 (39th-place). She was the sixth-fastest freshman finisher in the field of 309 overall participants.
