Big South Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week - Oct. 7

Martin Iriondo (Orio, Basque Country, Spain) has been named the Big South Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, while High Point's
Bence Acsádi (Siogard, Hungary) is the Men's Freshman of the Week honoree for meets ran the weekend of Oct. 1-4, it was announced today.
Iriondo was the top finisher for the Buccaneers at last Friday's Paul Short Invitational, as he claimed 17th in the Men's College Gold 8K division that featured 302 competitors. He helped CSU finish 10th in the 35-team field.
Acsádi was HPU's second-best finisher at the Richmond Invitational last Saturday as he placed eighth in the 8K race with a time of 25:13.8. He helped the Panthers win the 16-team meet with 55 team points.
