Big South Announces Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Feb. 11
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference announced today its Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for competitions during the weekend of Feb. 5-8.

Tim Brown (Davidson, N.C.) was selected the Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, with teammate
Ricardo Montes de Oca (Venezuela) tabbed the Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. Charleston Southern’s
Aden Price (Columbia, S.C.) earned Men’s Freshman of the Week honors.
Brown won the 400m dash at the Doc Hale Invite with a season-best time of 47.63, which is the fastest in the Big South this year. He also turned in a time of 21.85 in the 200m for a sixth-place finish.
Montes de Oca once again bested his own Big South and program pole vault record, as he placed second in the event at the Doc Hale Invite with a clearance of 5.68m -- surpassing his old record by .01 meters.
Price finished runner-up in the 400m dash at the Doc Hale Invite with a PR time of 47.66, which is second-fastest in the conference this season, and ranks sixth all-time in CSU annals.
